OBDII Scanner for 2011 Maxima

I have an Actron model CP9135 scanner which works fine on my 2007 Toyota Highlander, but I get a link failure when connecting to the 2011 Maxima. I'm not sure if the scanner is not compatible with these later years or if there is another issue. I don't think this scanner is CAN bus compatible, but also not sure if the 2011 Maxima is on a CAN bus. Any ideas appreciated or a recommendation for a good scanner that can read and reset codes would certainly be welcomed.

2011 Maxima is CAN bus. Your scanner is not compatible.

Most if not all new scanners are CAN bus compatible.
