Title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for some help in doing this. Which sensors need to be replaced with OBD1 ones, which sensors aren't used, any other quirks between the two... that kind of thing. I've already noticed the way a few of the sensors hook up is different, and that the distributor is totally different.

Also, I need to know similar things about the two transmissions.

K the job that you want to do is pretty much impossible, OBD1 and OBD 2 are totally different in just about every way. From level of gas tank sensors to the Data Link Connector, its a job that i would never want to try. OBD 2 is an amazing leap in technology and it would be really smart to use it to your advantage.

Well, I actually found the information I needed elsewhere. Nowhere near "impossible". The intake manifold sensors, the distributor and the ignition coil are all different.

Also, level of gas sensors are kind of irrelevant considering I have an OBD1 ECU and the rest of the car besides the engine is OBD1 as well.
