obd2 tps and automatic transmission issues

car: 1997 240sx ka24de. automatic transmission

anyone know a good write up on how to set an obd2 tps. all i could find was write ups on how to set an obd1 tps.

ka24de all stock, automatic trans.

i was also reading that part of the tps controls when an automatic transmission shifts?

car was in perfect running condition before i left it at the paint shop for about a month without being started.

heres my dilemma, upon start up my car used to bogg out and die if i didnt immediately get on the gas. i swapped out the tps and it fixed that issue.

now my next question, my automatic trans shifts really high. first to second shifts at 4500 or so. second to third shifts at 5500 or so. and i havent been able to go into any higher gears.

can someone point me into the right direction?

I SCANNED CODES WITH AN OBD2 SCANNER AND GOT
- MANUFACTURERS CONTROL, AUXILIARY INPUT, AUXILIARY OUTPUT.
i havent the slightest idea what that means.

help?
