There are some cheap OBD2 scan tools on ebay that connect to your PC via USB (about 8$). Does anyone know if these work on our Pathfinders? They are ELM327 Version 1.5 if that means something to someone.

Thanks

They work great. I use one with Torque on my Android phone. The refresh rate is very slow, but that's our ECU's fault and not the ODBII adapter. It's lightning fast in my girlfriend's '09 Pontiac G5.

I use the Torque app / bluetooth adapter as well. I bought mine from Amazon by searching by rating. There are tons of ubercheap adapters that don't work well, so make sure you buy one from a high rated seller. Torque is much better than the $100 Walmart ones.

I've actually thought about buying another adapter to keep in my glove box just in case I need to scan a friend's / family member's car... and keep the other one safe at home.
