After the MAF sensor was replaced on my Nissan Maxima 2000, everything was running fine - and still is. However, the check engine soon light came on and rather than driving around to get codes read, I figured I would get an on-sale obd2 reader. I searched around and cannot find the specific location of the port to plug in the device when it arrives in the next couple of days. From what I understand it is somewhere on the drivers side, but don't see a port (I see a similar one on the left side of the dash with the fuses but something is already plugged into that port).

If someone could let me know a specific location, it would be great.

OBD/Data Link port should be near steering column, behind the lower panel.

It's tucked up under the driver side knee bolster, maybe 4 inches to the right of the hood release.
