i have a 1990 240 and my check engine light came on i have obd2 checker but is my car obd1 or 2.

i dont know what you have but if you have the right thing to plug into the diagnostic port then it should read it.
Search there are probably some pins you can jump and make the CEL flash the codes, then you can look them up.

never mind i figured out what the problem was i just needed to do a couple of dough nuts the old 240 just needed to burn some rubber
