OBD1 or OB22

Im swapping a 1991 ka engine into my 95 240sx and i just want to know what were the years for the obd1 and obd2?

Not positive but I believe obd1 is 95 and older.

im not 100% positive either but have heard from a couple mechanics 95 and down have the obd1, 96 up have obd2

My 95 is OBD2. Some 95s were OBD1 and some were OBD2.

The 95's OBD 1 Nissan lied on some! Some of the 96's are also ODB1 Nissan lied again. 97 and 98 are ODB 2. You can look at the # on your ECU and go to JWT.com and see what you have.

EVERYTHING AFTER 6/95 SHOULD BE OBD2. OBD2 BECAME STANDARD MID YEAR OF 95.

sounds dumb i know but i dont understand the difference in obd1 and obd2 and such, ive searched and tried to read it , but nothing that i could grasp really. anyone wanna help?
