im look to buy a obd1 computer interface cable to run to a laptop in the car. what do you think i need to do this i.e programs, cables, and computer. how to find the parts to do so. i just got my tax returns and think this might be what i spend it on.

Oh yeah - You need a "Consult interface". I've got a couple for sale, or you can search around on the net and find the ones by PLMS or others.

The cable and translation chip is the easy part.Getting a program that does Consult-like functions is the rub for a 90-95 Q.

Yep, none of the aftermarket programs knows the active suspension stuff, the climate control stuff, or the TCS stuff.

Active tests, no problem, including 8-cylinder drop tests, etc.

i don't have active suspension,i only wont for code reading and other stuff like that how much for your cable and program and what other thing can you do with it .air /fuel ratio timing etc.
