Just so everyone know when using the OBD Scan Tech Nissan to diagnose there Automatic Transmission on a Q45 or other supported vehicle the 3 MPH (MTR) speed is correct. When I first saw this I thought that either the Consult Cable (by E-Mance) is junk or the software is wrong. Both were right but the MTR stands for MeTeR (as in speedoMeTeR?). I took a gander at the Factory Service Manual/Field Service Manual (Are both correct?) and it does show a true Nissan Consult screen with 0 MPH (KPH really) and then 3 KPH as the MTR value.

Can anyone explain why the MTR value is shown and why its 3 MPH when the vehicle is not in motion?

Also I think the fact that OBD Scan Tech only supports 3 speed transmissions needs to be fixed.

i know the active suspension control unit has 2 speed readings also, speed sensor 1 - Meter, and 2 which i think comes from AT signal based on service manual.
