i got the codes read and it says po420 and po430 bank 1 bank2 catalystefficency below threshold.

is this my cat o2 sensors? because of the HFC?? anyone have any input. i dont know what the codes were for the camshaft position sensor, but the car is acting the same it was when it was that.so now i dont know what to do. the dealer probably wont take care of it under warranty.

Common as HFC are not designed to work as well as oem. They are usually ok for the first year then progressively degrade.

Most dearlerships with not work on Felony Emission Tampered vehicles where the cats have been replaced illegally.

Definitely they are catalyst efficiency codes. If they are breaking up they will not warranty your motor when it blows. You may want to inspect them and perform a catalyst efficiency test.

Did you have a vacuum leak? Did you reset your closed throttle position and idle air volume afterward?

The kinetix are known to leak. Instead of using a material that has limited thermal expansion, they used that weird composite stuff that expands and contracts a lot. Even if you keep tightening the bolts, you'll still likely have problems.

The bottom of the plenum is a cork like material. That makes the seal. Ive had no problems.

I have only driven one coupe with the Kinetix I was not completely sold on it. Although when I drove this car I was fixing a DIY plug replacement that ended in a PO305 for two crossed wires. Are the gains on that ~10HP on a good day?

I do remember the one that I had did have abnormally high (~110%) ALPHA readings and I just attributed it to the new intake. LOL guess I was right.

What do they make it out of ?

How do you reset throttle position and idle air volume because actually my idle is weird it keep bouncing up and down.

There were a few sentras and altimas with pre-cats that fell apart and somehow caused engine failure. The cats on our Gs are further away from the engine than the pre-cats on the aforementioned cars, but it could still happen.

The cats are slightly farther downstream but I have seen one with race cats on it actually break up and get sucked back into the motor and trash the rings. It lost compression on bank 1. When I removed the cats there was almost a clear hole all the way through, and there was debris on both sides of the catalyst material.

If your idle is fluctuating you may have a vacuum leak, and yourISC is trying like hel* to fix it. Try spraying gum cutter around the plenum to see if the idle rises. If that is the case you will need to fix that before you empt a re-learn or you will set a PO507 (ISC function).
