i have a 1999 Q45 and i wanted to see if there are any products that i can use to monitor my cars status and tune it? i did search but the consult we speak of here is for G50's only i guess as i understood.

While a Consult II will let you change a few parameters [for diagnosis] most revert back to stock when the Consult is disconnected and the car is restarted.

Reprogramming OBD2 requires a recompile and reflash and the check digits must match so it gets a little complicated and expensive.

The 4.1 liter engine is pretty maxed out with only about 5% emergency reserve, so what's the point?

well i wanted to downtune so she wont drink so much gas, and when its time to mosh i want to have a bit more power. i like seeing all the numbers and having a tool that can help me understand the car better, thats all as far as now, any suggestions?
