Anyone see this going bad?

Other than the phonebook is more random?IBCoupe wrote:I don't see it going any more poorly than a jokester with a phonebook.
As far as I can tell, this thing's pretty random, too. What's the worst that someone could do here? Misrepresent the Obama administration? Insult people? You've got a phone and a phone book; you could do the same thing. Heck, you've got yellowpages.com; you could tackle this nationwide if you want. That it picks a name from national voting registries (probably - I don't know where it comes from) doesn't actually make it any less random.audtatious wrote:Other than the phonebook is more random?
Oh? It's Barack Obama.com. . . I can only assume.IBCoupe wrote:Dusred, I don't think this is actually President Obama's doing.
Yes, and it's a continuation of the group that campaigned on his behalf to get him elected. I don't know that he's actually got any input in it now that he's, y'know, President.dusred wrote:Oh? He has his hands in everything...IBCoupe wrote:I don't know that he's actually got any input in it now that he's, y'know, President.
Are you counting the Obama Reich's fraudulent votes in that figure? Votes from the deceased were up 80%infiniti_lineup wrote: voter turnout for the 2008
Not really. I mean, anyone can use a phonebook and 'prank call' anyone else and fake campaign for any candidate. This is just a way to organize volunteers inexpensively.IBCoupe wrote:I think what Aud was getting at, IL, was that opening it up to the internet invites pranksters.
Yet there is not a section in the phonebook marked "potential democrat voters to target".JimmyMethod wrote:Not really.
