A collection of pro-Obama politcal cartoons by Mike Luckovich, an Atlanta Journal Constitution artist. There are quite a few good ones in there...

A bunch of my Co-Workers keep saying that they don't think he'll last til January. has this country come to? Why on earth would anyone shoot Obama? That's just insane!

Not only are the linked cartoons worthless, they are one sided and trying to send us a message... from a person of zero relevance that sketches for a living. Nothing to see there.

Pro Tip: Cartoonists, stick to one liners that make people laugh. Continuing to harp on the Right only broadens the idealogical gap, that the softy left pretends to want to bridge.

Dude, what planet do you live on? Please tell me your just being sarcastic.

Its really REALLY annoying to hear this chick i know say the same thing as well, but i mean come on dude.. Reality sucks in many ways, there are some really horrible people in the world.

Hes going to have more security than any president ever though. When he was at a rally in my town, he literally had two helicopters flying over the area. My cousin's friend was hunting in the woods about 3 miles away from the fairgrounds Obama was supposed to be at, and he had a heli hover over him for 20-30 min checkin him out.

Have you been to the deep south? As long as Obama avoids that area, and really avoids flying on planes he should be okay.

I'm not sure if these are political cartoons or just propaganda. You tell me.

I'm gonna go with the Obama Propaganda Machine. We've seen these types of posters before in history and history didn't serve most of those times well. I just hope this all blows over soon so these commi-style posters (yeah, they really are) aren't all over the place by 2012.

Being in advertising myself, I can tell you that what you see in these posters is more a current trend in design, than a reflection of the politics. Vintage and retro styles are really getting a lot of attention from the design community as a whole, so expect to see similar styles saturating multiple media for at least the next year.

"GROPE" ROFL!

Someone tell these retards that Abe Lincoln hated blacks. He took cases representing slave owners, wanted to ship all the slaves back to Africa, favored legal segregation, and made it very clear that blacks were INFERIOR to whites. When he campaigned, he said he did NOT want to end slavery, and favored the status quo. He explicitly wanted to PROTECT slavery.

Cartoonists are retards, and American history textbooks are full of lies and cliches. Every time I see praise for Lincoln I want to punch a hole in the wall.

He would have shipped BHO's a$$ to Kenya.

This is a nasty post.

He very clearly said that they were "Pro Obama", so I'm not sure what you're trying to argue with him about. He's not trying to assert that they're somehow impartial. Political cartoons are *never* impartial. Welcome to earth.

It says a lot about if you can't laugh at cartoons that make fun of your party.

I don't see how what you're saying is anything different from this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J...versy

Political cartoons are funny. Have a sense of humor.

While I do know he had a softer stance on slavery near the beginning of his political career, I would never say he wanted to protect slavery during his presidency. He recognized slavery as the base of the South's economy. I still cannot say that was his primary reason for opposing it. Ive never heard someone make the claims you have, and I will do some further research. Z mentioned a documentary or series of books about Abe. I'm gonna check them out when I have some time.

And a slight correction... Only slaves taken from Africa could be shipped back. Most slaves in late 19th century America were born into slavery. So they couldnt be sent BACK, assuming it was even known from where their families originated. Picky, yes. But an important point IMO...

Calm down again defensive coordinator.

I'm not trying to argue, I'm posting my opinion.

Political cartoons are funny, especially when the artists are jumping aboard the hot air balloon of hope and change. Yeah real funny, thanks Cap'n Obvious, they are funny to half the country and just tabloid to the other half. Brilliant!

Says a lot about you when you read a post and, since the opinion and basis of opinion differ from your own POV, you see everything in red.

Because the country is not ready for a socialist, extreme liberal liar.

Obama ran on CHANGE, so far his choices for people that will surround him are same ol s**t - Washington insiders. He is back pedaling already on his campaign promises. He also said he would promote bi-partisanship. But again, the people that he has chosen are all democrats.

NOW watch Headline News, people that voted FOR him are already NOT happy with the campaign promises that are lies. This guy is not even POTUS yet, and he is not sticking to what got him elected. Just wait until you see what he does to YOUR lives.Don't get me wrong; with that said, I hope and pray that he is a good president, but it looks like the same ol crap.

BTW: Do you think he got all that campaign money from "We the people"? Nope - lobbyists and big corp. and it is payback time.

But those that voted for him will keep their head in the sand until it gets so bad and begins to affect their life.

Speaking of life; the media is starting to pull their head out of their azz and starting to question Obamas birth certificate. Also NUMEROUS law suits have been filed on this very subject. It is getting interesting.

Just your abrasive, liberal opinion.

Your really buying into the GOP's attack ads. That games over, you/they lost. Your idea about the country not being ready would kinda be overrided by reality. He just won a pretty much landslide victory. So, saying that YOU arnt ready is a much more accurate statement.
Offshore1 wrote:Do you think he got all that campaign money from "We the people"? Nope - lobbyists and big corp. and it is payback time.
Uh, no. No he didnt. I guess you dont do any research before you say things like this. Or maybe, again, you believe attack ads and every anti-obama medium that goes through whatever that thing is inside your head that you call a brain.

Obama received the vast majority of his money in the form of under 200 dollar untraceable anonymous donations. Now thats a whole other can of worms that im not going to get into here.

EDIT -Chromes post will make a lot more sense to you than mine does. I just now realized the whole jist of your post, and have an much deeper dislike of you than i did originally. I at first thought you were simply a misinformed fool. I reedited my post because of this.

Chrome that was your 1337 post.
