Obama Girl no longer has a "Crush On Obama"

Thought this was VERY interesting. I watched this interview she did with Sean Hannity where she said she no longer has a crush on Obama and that he isn't what she thought he was. She did say that when she did the video that she was totally not into politics so didn't really have any idea what she was getting into. Also thought it was interesting how neither Obama or his Admin ever thanked her or threw her a bone for her work. Obviously she had an impact on the election in rallying the young people to vote in the election.

We have much better, more important things to talk about than the girl that caused the students at NYU who voted for Obama, most of whom did so just because he's black. Now that's an issue worth talking about.

I pretty much agree with smockers, there's more important things than Obama girl, as funny as it may seem. Both sides need to focus on the economy and scaling up jobs. This includes things like Palin making a big deal out of Rahm's stupid comment about some of his own party members being "retarded". It's a funny byline but not worth major coverage nor flagging as a "big deal".

You do realize that Obama Girl didn't do the video out of the kindness of her heart nor due to her love for Obama, right? She did it for the exposure. Why would you think she would not try to capitalize on it? I'm amazed she has not been offered movie roles and such by the Hollyweird elite.

The best thing I've watched on MSNBC was a "town hall" (aka a forum, I don't like the term town hall for these things) piece at STU in Houston by Chris Mathews where they were talking about race and the presidency. Interesting view points, however, the blacks on the panels would not accept/did not like the fact that many people voted for him just because he's black or anything related to that...even when told by a professor from NYU who asked her students an open ended question and the answer was, "He's black." When they were then asked by the same professor if that was racism (remember, white students), they said no. Now that's a thought to ponder. It also confirmed my suspicion that NYU is nowhere nearly as prestigious as it's made out to be.

What could he do for Blacks? Nothing, not a damn thing. It's not his job to do anything for any particular group, leave that to the supreme court.

Everyone has to remember that if you're on TV as a news anchor, talk show host whatever, you're an entertainer. Your job is to accumulate viewers so the program/station rakes in advertising $$. It doesn't matter what these morons say because it's all biased and solely based on the idea of making money by causing controversy. As unbiased as you might think, NPR is exactly the same way. No matter what we read, watch or listen to it's being filtered and we'll never get the true story on anything unless we're actually there.

That may also be true, but I was speaking more towards the white kids who voted for him just because. The blacks who voted for him because of "the code" thought wrongly just like some of the others who were expecting something to be handed to them.

I think we need to change the laws so that kids who live at home with mommy and daddy or are still in college and not exposed to real life cannot vote. Same with those who have been on Gov't assistance for the whole prior year
