I used to be ambivalent about the guy, but now he bothers me as much as McSame. Let the courts decide if the law was broken. That's how the justice system works.

This is one time when the Dems absolutely should not "reach across the aisle."

Basically, all throughout the primaries Obama was adament about being against telecoms who assisted in the yet to be legally tested government wiretapping program being given retroactive immunity from prosecution.

now that the bill has come up for a vote in the senate and includes retroactive immunity, he has stated that he will vote for it..Yes he has flipflopped.

Now I will still vote for the man because honestly McCain scares the **** outta me and I don't think all the marbles are there upstairs but over this I am LIVID.

The government spying on people in the US is something I hope everyone can agree is illegal. You can argue that the country was injured by its revelation but it was still wrong to begin with and the gentleman from ATT ho turned over the information about them tracking all internet traffic is a true hero.
