Obama and Hillary, the fight continues.

Where is this going? Obama still leads in the delegate count, but Hillary has the bigger states. Obama needs 311 to take it. Hillary needs 441. It appears Obama's comments about religion and guns backfired in PA.

The DNC is going to be very entertaining this year and on the top of the must watch reality shows in my house.

Where is this going?

Where this is going is an almost exact replica of the Florida Quagmire that the democrats got themselves into 8 years ago. This circus act is going to go on for another few months of mud slinging, muck raking and every other political cliche I can come up with! This only proves to the educated American public that if the democrats can't even get along with each other and are too pre-occupied cat fighting amongst their own party members, then how can they be expected to respectably run our country?!?! I forsee a long drawn out process of lawsuits and low blows before this thing comes to an end. McCain is doing the best thing possible right now by sitting on the sidelines and doing his job while the two poster children for drama are throwing sand in each others face. We don't need a good arguer in the white house, we need a good LEADER!

Lord have mercy on those Obama campaign workers that knock on my door! I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that says "Hill- Billy 2008." I do have to say being a registered voter in Indiana I have seen the following things:1. Our mail box has been flooded with Obama mailers. No Hillary mailers to date. 2. Obama has about 5 ads for Hillary's 2 ads. 3. While Obama and Hillary's TV adds are focused dead center on job flight and the economy, the advantage goes to Hillary. She is running an ad that not only talks about good American jobs going to China, but she slams George Bush and looks Hawkish in the process. Something about, "George Bush could have stopped the outsourcing of Smart Bomb Technology. Now the US has to rely on Chinese spare parts." Brilliant for the Indiana Primary. 4. Obama in his campaign ads and mailers claims that Hillary takes money from "Special Interest Groups" aka lobbyists but Obama has not taken one dime. I will admit that even though the NEA has backed Hillary Clinton, the Service Wokers Union has backed Obama. Now tell me that this is not a "special interest" and that he has received no money from this union.

The terrible thing is that whomever enters the Whitehouse in January is going to be there for at least 4 years. I'm afraid that the choices we're offered all have more negative to them than positive. There is little chance I'll be voting FOR a candidate this November as much as against one. And I don't know which is going to be the lesser evil. It's almost like we are a snowball rolling down a hill, picking up speed with no way to stop. This may not be pretty.

It will surely get interesting with Obama getting the popular vote and Hill getting the SuperD's. There is a push to make the popular vote the deciding factor but that is simply not the case nor the way to do it. When this goes "all the way" and they have to decide whom to select it's going to be tough. Giving Obama the position for popular will push the Hill-supporters to be pissed and head towards McCain whereas if Hilly gets the position via SuperD's the Obama gang will defect (of course, not all but a percentage will go McCain regardless of which one is selected).

Will be fun watching this play out

After NC and IN, the supers will finally have a chance to swing it, if they choose to. Until then, there aren't enough left uncommitted - only 302, I think.

I really think, though, it'll run at least through Kentucky on May 20th before the supers step in.

And it looks like Obama may be fighting a headwind now. He gave a politician's answer to the Wright thing, and totally blew the "cling" comment, losing the Reagan Democrats in PA.

We could see a sea change in his popularity before NC is over.
