I recently installed the short ram intake in my 08 G35. I have a concern with the air sensor wires. For the stock intake the box that held the air filters was a clamp to insert the air sensor wires. But there was not with the stillen intake. I checked today and the rubber around the wiring was slightly melted. What has anyone else done???

There was a clamp to insert the wires? Like to hold the actual wires or for the whole assembly to plug into? If you didn't plug that connector back in, you need to go get that piece off your stock intake and put it inline before the Stillen. That's the MAF and you need that.

i need to post a pic. Its not the maf sensor. That gets inserted into the intake tubes then bolted down. I am talking about the actual wiring. Its wrapped with rubber. That what has begun to melt.
