i hooked up my sirius radio using the fm direct wire i ordered the 2 adaptors from cruthchfield it worked nice for 2 weeks now its not working correctly the fm transmission is really bad does any one have any ideas what could be wrong is there a ground wire for this set up that might be loose i checked all wires nothing loose also the fm stations match on both units this is the sporster 5

Hubby hooked mine up too this last weekend with the fm wire. I find that in certain places the car radio fm will bleed thru. I thought about using a different frequency on the car radio.

If you have satellite radio, you obviously don't care to listen to the local radio so just unhook the antenna and no more bleed through.

If you happen to have an SL, use an AUX cable instead of FM modulation. Far clearer and more reliable.
