completely stock, never been modified. i think thats the best part. has a dent in the drivers fender, that will be easy to fix. has tires with less than 500 miles on them. interior is still complete, kinda dirty but still in good shape. all of the electronics still work. headlights pop up quick with no problems. no oil stains underneath that are excessive. overall, not bad at all. for 500 bucks, im pretty damn happy.

sweet. There's a 85 sr-5 here locally for sale for 900. Perfect condition. 5 spd, only 50k on it! A buddy of mine is looking at buying it.

Rob,I know this shoulds like a cliche, but I would concentrate on your intake and exhaust. They are pretty easy to modify on the '02 Altima. The '02 Altima has a big restriction from where the header meets the exhaust piping. It appears in the small section that its crimped. I am sure they did it for emissions. Does your state have emissions testing?

we have no emmision testing whatsoever, however i keep going back about modding the altima, or just keeping it stock (so its easier to sell) and getting rid of it in a few years and picking up something else, like a 24o, or something i could afford.

Intake and test pipe would be cheap and help out the QR motor in your Altima. I would make it more fun to drive. Those mods by themselves would not break the bank.

yes but i need one for fairly cheap, and i only want a 91-93, has to be 5spd, and i really dont want one with 14ok on it, i think im just going to buy one with high mileage, thats it good condition, and buy another KA block and biuld it, get the car painted, and sit for a while and wait for money to re-couporate

yeah well 89-93 are all the same (chassis wise) except for the front bumper which you can get for like $50 or so and you can find one with high miles for like $1000 or maybe even cheaper and just swap the DOHC motor in

nothing wrong with the sohc. I've grown quite fond of mine. And I've had the DE, in my altima.

oh ok cause i talked to injen and they said there was too much cutting to make a cold air, thats y they make a short ram with the heat sheildcustom altima was pretty expensive, cause its 189 for it and then 65 for the heat sheild, i was about to make my own at that point

yeah that is quite a bit of dough... i paid 179 for mine total. took me about 2 hours to cut it cuz i was taking my time really badly. a die grinder with a nice cutting tip will zip right thru it no problem.

I used a dremel tool to enlarge the hole when i had cai on my altima. Didn't take but 10 minutes.
