I replied last night, but you said anyone who runs with no o2 sensor is an idiot, so I just deleted my post, but I'm feeling lucky today: )

I have a truck with a ka24e. The rear o2 sensor costs 180 dollars, f*** all that, its just a stocker. I unplugged that bish, no problems ensued. Recently I suspected the front sensor was failing. I gutted it, welded it shut, ground it smooth so slag wasn't jutting into my manifold, and threaded it back in. No check engine light, no difference in MPG, no loss of anything. But it is stock. If I were ever to tune the ECU, I would definitely run a wideband.

I'm not tryng to tell everyone to perform some unorthodox s#!t like this on thier engines if they don't want to, I'm just telling you my situation.
