Does anyone know what thread the o2 sensor is on a rb20det? I'm going to be building a different o2 housing to clear my steering shaft. It's getting annoying feeling it hit sometimes.

I took out the O2 bung from my RB25 o2 housing with a large socket and a breaker bar. Have you tried to do that?

Interesting. I guess I did notice the hex bushing, but it never ocurred to me to try to remove it. Anyway, the O2 bung is a standard size, 18 mm. You can buy tapped O2 bungs lots of places online or go down to Autozone/Advance Auto and get a non-foul spark plug fitting that will fit your O2 sensor.

Non-foul spark plug insert works and is an 18 mm. I can take pictures of the O2 sensor screwed into the insert for you unbelievers.

18x1.5mm is one of the standard sparkplug threads so yes, it prob fits.
