i have a 1996 240 sx se of course with the kade. i ordered a dc sports header from andys auto junk (sport). some how the mixed things up in the ordering and sent me an s13 header for the de. since the s13 is and obd1 system and my s14 is an obd2 system, the o2 sensors did not fit. the header had three seperate bungs in it, one for the egr, one for something else (same size bung as egr) and another after the collector. i plugged off the egr and the other upper bung and was going to use the lower bung for the o2 sensor, but to my demise, the wires going to the sensor were to short. so my question is can i splice into the factory wires and elongate them??? also i am planning to not put a cat back into the exaust system, i am going to have a custom straight pipe built from the header back, will not having a cat mess with my afr? i

Yes you should be able to elongate the wires without running into any problems.

But if I were you, I'd buy a new header that isn't junk.

imo dont cut into the stock harness cut a pice of wire and crimp ends on to it to bridge the gap.
