I am having a problem finding a replacement hot O2 sensor for my 95 240sx. the car is an automatic and it is the sensor after the cat. Are there any sensors from other cars that are interchangeable here? or is there like a universal one that I can use? Please advise.

you try calling your local autoparts store? usually the one after the cat isn't the one people replace, the one before the cat is the one that's important for your emissions and getting about town.

Ummmm...might I suggest a Nissan dealer? Autozone, or whatever, can get you a Bosch replacement (or a universal that you'll have to splice in), but a lot of people swear by the OE sensors. One of our advertisers can probably get you a good deal.

the nissan dealers around here want $170 for it and I have tried a couple of different universal ones that the parts stores said would fit but the sensors are to big, it has to be the really slim one. the only reason why it fneeds to be replaced is because the wires got pulled out of the original which has prbably been that way for a while because I have only had the car for about a month.

NTK is oem. American Bosch is quite different from Japanese Bosch -------same name but nothing else.

I actually found a replacement from NTK a little earlier from http://www.kbperformance.com The sensor itself was like $52 and then shipping was like 9 bucks. just incase anyone else is looking for the same thing.

Thanks,

Nick
