Just out of curiosity, how often are you guys fouling up o2 sensors. I just replaced mine about a year ago and its already screwing up again. Is this normal? 20 miles per gallon sux on a relatively stock setup. Also, Im trying to remember... we can use the 88 pulsar sensor right? Cuz I think thats what I have on there now.

lebanon tennessee?! awesome! ive got a good friend from school that is from there.

anywho, you shouldnt be going through o2 sensors that fast. check your air/fuel ratio if you can, as it sounds like you are running too rich. that being said I have gone through a couple of them in my day. want one? ive got the old one out of my car that will never be used again. I assume its in good shape, but being that I have not removed it yet I cant really comment. if you would like it email me with your address and I will ship it out.

I don't know if it's the same part number or not.........but I'm using an o2 sensor for a '84 200sx turbo (ca18et)......no fouling yet. Also use a NTK (NGK) brand one.....I've had better luck with them over Bosch, etc

thanks for the help guys..I ended up doing some more research and found that a z31 turbo one will work. so I picked on up at auto zone for 40 bucks and put it on. The car is running much better now...no backfires and smoother idle. I just hope this one lasts a bit longer than the others. Unfortunately no, I dont have a way to check my a/f ratio...but it shouldn't be running TOO rich cuz im stock except for headers and 3 inch exhasust, and decat pipe. Any ideas? By the way, thanks for the input guys.

Thanks for the offer man, but it looks like mt o2 sensor problem is solved. By the way, what school do you go to? Ive got some friends that I used to play baseball with that live in the huntsville area.
