no, i dont think so, the 240 one is 15 for the universal and 30 for direct fit at autozone, i just did mine and there is a noticeable difference between old and new

Generally speaking an o2 sensor is an o2 sensor. The difference would be on two points: Fit and connection.

Fit is to say if it will screw in where it supposed to, and connection would be if it is the 1 wire or 2 wire sensor. The 2 wire just means it has the second wire to power the heater that is built into it, it helps it heat up to operating temp., while the 1 wire is for the signal from the sensor to the ECU.

Don't know why you wound want to try to get the 300zx's o2 sensor to fit the 240sx if they are indeed different.

the reason is simple. . . I got a couple laying around;) Figured I could save a couple bucks by scavanging. The reason I asked instead of just trying is that I figured it'd be easier to ask than to go through a set of knuckles for something that MAY work (lol).

Ok, then I suppose you can call the local auto parts store and see if any of these four sensors come up with the same number: 240sx, both universal and OE fit, and 300zx, both universal and OE for that too. If any of the 4 return with the same part number then you can make it work with some splicing at the most, if not, then you will have to buy one for the 240.

taking an O2 sensor out of an older car (like my '92) is a pain in the butt no matter what you do. lol. Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm just gonna buy new ones after I mess these up w/ seafoam. I'd rather have newer ones, anyway.
