I think ive gota bad o2 sensor. The car surges real bad and doesnt run smooth. There's a 1-wire o2 sensor on the car now

Ive got a spare 4-wire o2 sensor from a honda. Do i just need to splice it and use the signal wire from the honda one and screw it in?

Thanks!

How do you know the Oxygen sensor is bad? Have you tested it?

You will see your mileage go to crap. In addition you could see your check engine light come on. Also if you go around the back, you should smell your exhaust and it should smell like gasoline as then you'll start running rich.

The check engine light won't always come on with a bad oxygen sesnor. I have yet to experience the check engine light because of a bad oxygen sesnor.

There are many things that can cause a rich mixture.

Get a factory service manual and test your oxygen sensor accordingly, don't buy parts unless you know they're bad. It's just a waste of money.
