i have a greddy wideband afr gauge, and the instructions say the supplied sensor can sometimes be used in the stock location as a replacement. just wondering if my rb20 ecu will accept the signal from this sensor or if i should just have a new bung welded in...

not necessarily. some wbo2s have narrowband output ability as a separate signal, in which case the ecu wont know the difference. depends which one you get.
