o2 sensor problems....

i cant get a b+ signal at my exhaust gas sensor and i followed the sr wiring writeups im just wondering if i can rewire the circuit(assuming theres a break in the circuit somewhere). im pretty sure i know what im doin i just dont wanna short out the ecu.. so heres what i think let me know ur opinion... red wire out of o2 sensor in switched ignition positive, black ground and the white one in the middle is to pin 29 on the ecu(also where the airfuel meter goes?) thanks in advance...

Instead of rewiring the whole thing, diagnose the problem.

Check for power and ground at the plug for O2 sensor.
