o2 sensor Location of bank 2 #2

reading on line some people say its before the cat. some say its after the cat well there is not a sensor after the cat on this 01 pathfinder check engine light was intermittent until i changed the fuel cap now its constant. i can clear the code and it stays off for a short time code always reads bank2 sensor 2 so where is it.

O2 Bank 2 Sensor 2 is on the driver's side post-cat.

my cat is on the pasenger side and there is no sensor after the cat going into the tailpipe it goes up over the axel and to the muffler

Our 2001 Pathfinders have two catalytic converters.

not this one you can see where they come off the manafolds the left side crosses over into one catalytic converter on the right then stays on right side to muffler

You are mistaking a resonator for a catalytic converter. See both #11 Three Way Catalyst:
