Back in 2005, when my G35 was new, I had a JWT POP Intake and Z tube plus Headers and Cat back exhaust installed. Dyno show it was running lean and a Unichip was added. It was running great with great sound. Several days later my Check Engine light came on. My installed checked it and it said the Left exhaust O2 sendor wasn't right. The Check Engine was reset, the light went out for a couple of days. The O2 sensors were replaced. Light out for a few days and then back on. It's been on now for 3 years and no one has any idea how to fix it. The ECU has been recycled to no effect.

You may want to consider getting one of these?

Purchased mine on Amazon. They have come way down in price

If the CEL was out for a few days & then came back on, I would suspect a defective O2 sensor?

Both O2 sensors were replaced. Problem still exist. My shop (ZCar Garage) researched and called people with no success.

I learned a long time ago that most independent shops do not have qualified people to troubleshoot complex problems.

Take it to the dealer.

If it turns out the so called replaced O2 sensors were defective you should be able to obtain a credit. I hope you paid by credit card? NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING ANY OTHER WAY!

If ZCar Garage misdiagnosed the problem and refuses to give you a refund, write to the credit card company to dispute the charge and have them issue a chargeback.
