O2 sensor information query

Hello, first time to this forum.

I have a 1985 300zx, into which I placed the turbo from a 1986 300zx. Problem is, the '85 model used a 22mm O2 sensor and the bung in the turbo housing of the '85 is for a 17mm sensor.

I do know this much, the 86 sensor is not compatible with the '85 ECU. I need to get an 02 sensor in there so I can drive the car.

My options are to remove the bungs and swap them, they are threaded in. However, this is not as easy as it sounds, considering they are in the exaust housing of the turbo, and they've been there since 1985 and 1986. Also, the turbo is already in the car and its hard to get to.,Another option is to drill and tap the 17mm hole out to 22mm, but once again that would be difficult with the turbo installed in the vehicle.

Ideally, I would like to find a 17mm O2 sensor that is compatible with my ECU, in other words, one that sends the same signal as the 22mm sensor installed originally in the 1985.

I have tried to find a website for Bosch, who makes them, with some kind of contact info for someone who could help, to no avail.

Does anybody out there have any information at all or know of a way to go about finding a compatible sensor so I can just buy one and screw it in????
