i have a 2002 nissan pathfinder 4x4 . i need to replace my front drivers side upstream o2 sensor.
i ordered a o2 sensor from rockauto. it was a Bosch 13224 {grey connector}. when i went to replace it i realized that mine had a blue connector. i need to leave this weekend and im having a hard time finding this part.
no store has it in my area. all they have is for the front right. can i buy a front right and connect it to the front left ?
can i just cut the wires/blue connector from my old one and splice it up to my new one ???
will that cause a check engine light ????

There are a few odd O2 sensors, but most of them, including Pathfinders use pretty standard ones. I did the front O2 sensors in my 03 QX4, used Bosch sensors for a Ford, a whopping $16.50 each at Amazon, spliced the wires and all has been well for 5K now. As long as it's a 3 wire sensor and you get the wires right it's pretty straightforward. Actually the heater wires are interchangeable, it's just the signal wire that has to be in the right place. Probably got an extra .5 to .75 MPG, a welcome boost but less than I'd hoped for with 135K on the originals.

The drivers side is no fun but the passenger side is the real bear.
