Almost finished putting all of the new parts on the newly ordered J-Spec KA and I'm going to replace the O2 sensor...one question though for you all....is there a particular brand I should go for or is there really no difference?

I can get an NGK one for about $31, and our Bosch ones at work are about $35 + tax - 20% discount....but is there a difference between the two brands really?

Thanks

I've used bosch, brand new, I get about 150 miles when I hit the halfway mark, the NGK I get about 195 miles when it hits the halfway mark.

Good to hear....i ordered the NGK earlier tonight....figured the plugs work better in our cars than the Bosch, so why not the O2 sensor

if you give half a rats butt about emissions (probably not), then you should always use OEM parts when dealing with anything emissions related. Why cuz its made spefically for that setup....aftermarket they just dont work as well... But if emissions are not a factor then whatever works I guess

With fuel costing as mush as it does the first o2 sensor is real important unless you like getting bad fuel milage:(

Dealership, I hate them, ordered my output flanges for my VLSD and 3 weeks later, they have no clue where it is. Got one of them... thats about it. Don't worry, the NGK will serve you well.

All the carbon comming out of your engine might get on your 20k sensor and cause it to be inaccurate... To be on the safe side, swap them.
