Ok, well i hooked up my a/f gauge(i know, eww narrowband.) but i had it laying, and my back bumpers been turning black. So i spliced the wire and hooked it up. The gauge showed constant rich if i was touching the gas and got closer to stoich under deceleration. So i unhook my o2 sensor all together and the car seems to run just as good if not better. Any ideas? i got a new o2 sensor just havent got to hooking it in yet. Also, anyone have any idea on how to adjust the ca MAF? or should i not touch it without a wideband? Thnx

*oh, and i also have my MAF grounded to the body, car runs like complete crap and sputters if i hook it up to the ground that comes through with the harness.*

ok, and now i went to change out the o2 sensor, and the Oxygen Sensor CA18ET 200sx Bosch # 13276 didnt fit. The threads and sensor itself was bigger. any thoughts?

Yes, it does fit. That is the one that I use and it fits just fine. That is the correct o2 sensor.

I'm using the same Bosch o2 sensor as well and it fit with no issues. Do you have any pics of your old o2 sensor? Your motor set might have came with a SR turbo outlet hence the Bosch for the ca18et "200sx" is bigger. Just a thought.

Some of the SR o2 housing are fitted with the skinny o2 bung. You are also correct though, I am using a SR o2 housing as well but mine has the fat o2 bung. I don't know the specifics of which SR's had the skinny o2 housings but I have seen quite a bit of them around.

That is very possible that i have a funky o2 housing. There is also another place towards the bottom of the o2 housing... but it seems huge and the bolt in it seems pretty seized. The old o2 sensor is a lot skinnier and a little shorter... and just looks pretty much pansy. They are both 3 wire and have the same clip. The new one has 2 white wires, and 1 black. old one was red black and white. I know this probobly doesnt matter, as long as its three wire. But maybe this wrong o2 sensor was causing my car running rich? Anyways, right now im running no o2 sensor? Is this going to kill the car? im not getting into it at all, for fear of running lean in high rpms. But it appears to be running far less rich.(bumpers not turning black) any ideas? Should i get another small o2 sensor, or get a housing with bigger hole... haha.. bigger hole... Thanks a lot guys.
