I'm in the middle of my rb20det install. I mounted my rb20 4 5/8" forward useing plates and the ka crossmeber. every thing fits good exept the o2 sensor pipe coming off the turbo.

Has anyone else had this problem? What did I do wrong?

You didnt do anything wrong. Mine hits too. I know Nismo241's ****s too. I am going to get a turbo back exhaust and see what they can do in that area. It only needs to be moved a smidgen.

I fixed the problem with a grinder ;) I'm sure there's a better way but hey it works.

the elbow behind the turbo should be cut off just below the O2 sensor and the down pipe to be welded on to it.

atleast thats the way i was taught.

Did you move the mount down any? b/c I know with Nismo241, the bellhousing hit the firewall, thus the hammer massage to the tunnel. 4 5/8's is exact right? I am trying to get my measurements down for the RB25 into s14, just need to figure out how to get the motor lower to keep from hitting the tunnel and to optimize access to transmission bolts.

I just had a custom O2 pipe made, since I'm using the SR downpipe.

No adjustments to the SR downpipe? If not thats what I will order, I already accepted the fact a custom elbow w/02 sensor would be necessary.

I have a full 3" piping from the O2 extention back. I had to move the mounting point back (I'm using the stock R33 mounts and transmission mounts) a little on the SR downpipe but everything bolts up like it should.
