i am looking at a pair of headers off a 95 240. there is what looks like an o2 bung after the 4th runner and another opening where the 4 runners connect. which is which and what is the other one for?

I would believe that the one that comes off of the 4th runner is the EGR tube and the one that is after all 4 collect is the O2 sensor...

The EGR one should be on the side of the manifold that faces the firewall and the O2 sensor will be positioned so it faces the drivers fender.

I sounded speculative only b/c that is the way mine is but mine is a 90 not your 95 so they have different engines. But I figured that the header ports would be the same. So I guess that I am not for CERTAIN as you say but pretty darn sure... (going by my FSM and my car, and having looked at a few engines in the 91-98 model 240's) (and yes I know that the engines setups are a little different w/ the 95-98 so I don't need someone getting on my case...)

Hope this helps!

one more question, so if i was going to use a wideband sensor would it fit in the same size bung as the o2 sensor? i would still need the o2 sensor as well though so the ecu doesnt get messed up, right?

That is not my area of expertize... (not that I have one but...) I don't know anything about a wideband sensor. I would supose though that you would still need the O2 sensor or else the ECU would get messed up readings...

As I said before: not my area, but just my 2 cents anyway.... =)
