The last thing anyone wants, after spending over a grand on a website, is to deal with bad service. Thankfully I got the complete opposite of that today from O&J Performance.

I had originally ordered a set of Arias piston, Eagle rods, and outer exhaust valve springs for my build from them about a week ago. The pistons I ordered were 10.7:1 CR. Exactly what I wanted. I got a call from O&J today just to make sure I ordered the right CR. If you haven't been to their website, they have many CR's available VIA a drop down selection with 8.8:1 and 10.7:1 CR. I could definitely understand how some people could make the wrong choice. Knowing (I can only assume) that some people could easily make that mistake, he gave me a buzz. It takes great awareness to understand this and I don't think there are many companies that would call to confirm what the customer really wants. Most would have just sent the order out and had I made the wrong choice, I would be stuck in limbo trying to return them for what I needed. The story doesn't end there. After just a few moments on the phone with whom I assume is the main man at O&J, I could tell he knew his stuff. So, I started asking him questions, for his opinions, and for his advice about my build. He didn't hesitate to pour out his knowledge about engine performance at all. I then asked him about some products on the site that I noticed were out of stock or too low to fulfill a complete order that I would have loved to make. Once again he came through for me. He said he could get me the parts I was asking for. So, over the phone, I ended up spending another $400 through O&J Performance on Head and Main Studs and intake outer valve springs.

I still don't have everything I need in order to assemble an engine and I will need to buy it all from somewhere. I definitely will spend my money there when I need it all. The service I got from them today has ensured my return business and loyalty. It will be hard for me to buy from another place for all my performance pieces.

Mr. O&J Performance, I hope you're reading this and I thank you for an awesome job.

That's awesome. It's not every day you get service like this. It's good to read the good stuff once in a while.

Glad to hear that they care about their customers so much- especially to the point where you're happy to spend more money on their wares.

LOL. It's funny you say that. I stopped at ~$900 so I wouldn't spend too much from my "fun" account, but when I got the call and started talking, I couldn't help but spend more.
