Post

Well, I have done a good bit of lurking and even some posting but heres a little bit of action.

The car was purchased two years ago brand new, I've had a slew of issues with it, on my third transmission (All replaced under warranty), Car has problems with the battery's not holding charges and dying if left idle for more than 2 days. Nissan can't figure the problem out and we can't find the draw, Nissan even replaced the battery but to no avail. The aftermarket stereo system was removed and placed back to stock but even that can't cure the electrical issue. Steering rack groan was replaced under warranty.

However despite the issues I've had, this car has been fun and gives me what I was looking for then and even still to this day (could use some more power :P)

To round up the list of mods:K&N Complete Cold Air Intake- Essentially just a short ram.

Megan Racing Header - 02 bungs rerouted below the car behind an aftermarket welded cat. This prevents any CEL's as I wanted to have a fully street legal vehicle.

BRM Catback - I went with the 2.5" Magnaflow components.

Forged 18x8 Altima SE-R wheels wrapped in 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R's.

Eibach Pro-Kit - Lowers the car 1.5" in the front and 1.0" in the rear. Car handles like it's on rails, but the bumps are much more noticeable. Give and get relationship.

Front Lip - Home depot special lol 25$ worth of materials and rushed time made a product that I personally like, but I wish I kept my stillen lip instead of selling it.

Leather and Alcantara Interior - Redone with Leather bolsters and alcanara (synthetic suede) to retain that sport look and feel. The stitching remains red and replaces the SE-R with Spec V logos. The door panels are leather as well and the rear seats are done too. The reupholstery comes with heated seats for the front passengers

TWM Short Throw Shifter + Knob/ Restitched Stock Shift Boot - I went with the satin finish reverse lock titanium ball shifter. It feels great and shifts nicely, but it's very heavy and I feel as though it is better for daily driving, for spirited quick shifts I do not feel as confident. I also redid the stitching red over the stock shift boot's red. Looks OEM and matches everything else.

Pioneer Navi/IPOD/Bluetooth Head Unit - I replaced the stocker with a navigation/hands free bluetooth with IPOD connectivity. Great piece. I also retained my stock top screen and also gained the function to make it say whatever I want. The controls are a small integrated area beneath the center console easy to reach and also all light up in the matching yellow scheme.

Debadged Trunklid/Pinstriping - Just a little debadge leaving the nissan burger and removing the dealer pinstriping.

Custome Grille - It's actually the stocker dremeled out and replaced with mesh in the middle, all painted in the OEM KH3 super black color. Has held up almost 2 years with minimal touching up required.

Tint - 35% all around (Illegal on front in NJ) but I didn't care I love the way it looks and I can still see at night and cops don't really pay any attention to me yet.

I think that covers all my mods. It tracked a 14.989 @ 93.14 MPH at Atco Raceway stock; with a 2.45 60' lol bald tires. Since the suspension and bolt ons she has seen 14.218 @ 99 mph with a 2.2 60' in not so good track conditions. I think she has 14.0's in her untuned. Unfortunately, They didn't have the slip machines working so all I have is my word and a few friends to back me up. I have a video of my first time at the track but it's only a 15.1 My first time ever!!!!

Here are the pics If at anytime you want a pic of something else or more detail let me know!

When she was stock and branddddd new. Sigh part of me misses this part.

Stock dyno 171whp and 163 ft lbs. Not bad, but I was expecting about 175whp.

Yummy
