"Jewish American Princess" I assume is what he meant.

And wasn't there a thread about this last month already?

Yes there was, but I think Nala is just informing us of his new car. His mom probably bought one to replace the Qx4. And we all know what that means about a year from now.....

I've read that in a couple of places. I doubt it's true. For one thing, the Altima and Maxima still have VQ35s.
For another, the VQ front- and rear-wheel-drive blocks are not the same. There is NO front-wheel-drive variant of the VQ37VHR. I don't see why Nissan would use a Minivan to debut one if it did happen, especially when the Maxima was just redesigned with a huge "4DSC" campaign and still ended up with the old VQ35.
For another, the VHR sacrifices torque for high-end power versus the old VQ35DE. Exactly the opposite of what you want in a 5000lb van.
And the van has a VQ35DE or VQ25DE in Japan. No VHR.

I think someone made a speculative guess and idiot websites ran with it as fact.

I'll be very surprised if it has anything but a VQ35DE.

I think that is what the new 2011 Nissan Elgrand is here in Japan. That thing is absolutely ugly. My goodness it's ugly.

And M.O.D., on some sites here in Japan, it states VQ35DE and QR25DE for engines, with available 4WD models.

D'oh, I meant QR25, not VQ25.
