o/d light turns off and radio turns off when going in reverse

Ok I did my whole system in my 2000 qx4 and it sounds real good and for a whole 4 months nothing went wrong but ever since I took it to vegas about 2 weeks ago I have been experiencing the o/d (overdrive) and my radio turning off for a few seconds when I go in reverse. It dosen't happen everytime but it does happen. I think it's a loose wire in the radio system but what does that have to do with the o/d and vise versa, So any sugestions.
