well i unscrewed the tension arm bushing bolt. when i went for the other two i neglected to use a deep socket so i stripped both . not too bad i can still tap a socket on there, but those are ultra tight i sheared the key off my cheap chrome-vanadium steel breaker bar. ill borrow an impact socket asap. any tips on breaking em free.

Don't use a s*** breaker bar, go to Sear's and get a real one. When I changed my TC bushings, I just braced against something so I was able to use both my arms and my legs to break them free. I've tackled tougher bolts.

get a dremil and cut a deeper long slot on it. then you can use a big *** screw driver for leverage

you know it probably would be alot easier if you had the car of the ground,so you don't have the cars weight sitting on those, but then i could be wrong

Craftsman makes a socket set for that specific problem. It has a special head that will cut into the stripped nut and you will be able to use your breaker bar to remove it. I also seen those at AutoZone for about 30 bucks. Everybody should have a set it happens to everybody. Believe me it will save u a lot of headache and time. I think I paid 60 bucks for the craftsman. Good tools make life better!!
