Numerous problems with 2008 EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have had my EX35 2008 for less than a year and had nothing but troubles with it. I had both driver and pax seats replaced (leather had cracked right away and heaters were not working), the entire front dashboard rattled and had to be replaced, a/c and heater problems, the fuel gauge read over 1/4 tank when in fact the tank was empty and it ran out of gas (they blamed it on bad gas - not until the third time did the dealer attempt to fix it and replace the sensors), the sonar acts up at certain traffic lights and I think it is messing with my garage door as it is opening when it is no buttons are being pushed, it hestitates when it accelerates (blamed on bad gas as well), and those are just the major issues. Does anybody else have so many issues with this model? If so, any recommendations?

We've just had 2 problems, since it was purchased.

1) Lane Departure Camera failure.2) Brake Pedal Interlock Switch failure.

Other than that, my Wife loves the car.

My recommendations for you ? Sell it, if you hate the Car now.

My '08 has experienced only one problem in 11,000 miles of travel, that being the infamous vanity mirror. I am very pleased with the vehicle.
