Twice I said I'd never buy a Q again. Here's my 3rd Q. It may look familiar. That's because it used to belong to Jesda. I'm not quite sure what direction I'm going to go with this Q. This will be the first time that I've owned a Q and had another car as well (my GTI). It's a nice car to have next to my GTI because it gives me options for the road. Headed downtown and need to find tight parking? Take the GTI. Headed on a long cruise? Take the Q.

Since I already have my fast and fun car, I don't have as much of an urge to do much performance wise to this Q. I might tighten things up with the suspension, make the brakes a bit stronger, and maybe later on I'll throw on some different wheels. However now for the first time, I'm going to enjoy and appreciate the Q for what it is, a luxury sedan. Since I won't be spending much on performance, I'm going to invest most of the time I spend under the Q's hood towards maintenance. I gave the car a good wash and vacuum, and I also thoroughly cleaned the floor mats. I was surprised at how well the car looked cleaned up. It has it's imperfections here and there, but overall it's quite clean. I'm going to have the seats re-upholstered at some point, to restore the interior.

I'm happy to be a Q owner again, and I'm glad I have a more prepared approach to it this time. I don't have to drive it every day which gives me all the time I need to maintain it.

I can attest that this car is very smooth at 100MPH.

So Jesda, is that it for you... no more Q?

The dark side always draws you in. Nice Q. My father in law had a 91 that looked just like that and it started my Q fetish.
