I have a 1991 2+2 manual trans. I have been able to do most repairs for the 5yrs I have owned the car until now. I'm stumped. My number one cylinder is not getting a spark. I have replaced the plug, ignition coil and the ptu. I still get no spark in that cylinder any ideas?

The check wirewire (the looped wire off the PTU) is connected to cylinder 1. If you have a timing light, hook it to the loop and use it to verify there is a signal for it to fire.

Use a multimeter set to continuity, with the car off and test each lead off the cylinder 1 coil pack plug. Use this diagram http://z32.wikispaces.com/file/view/ECCS_colored_m.gif
Put a probe of the multi meter on a lead of the coil pack plug, then the other probe on the other end of where the wire goes on that diagram. This will help find/rule out a broken wire.
