Nsport was one of the first and original companies to offer a turbo kit for the KA. Definitely legitimate. Pricey compared to today's alternatives (e.g., turbo240, IAP), and the manifold isn't as high as quality either...but if you can find it used, it's a solid kit.

i started off with a brand new nsport kit back about 3-4 years ago. the manifold might not be the most efficent but definitly is durable as hell and i made 530rwhp with it. i did do my share of upgrading to the kit, bigger turbo and fuel upgrades.

still expect to be running 13's out of the box with the kit

Are they still around. Haven't heard their name in a while. From what I've heard, NSport bought the kit design from Bell Engineering, which designed the first known turbo kit. This kit had been featured in a magazine article (it was posted on one of the 240 sites many years ago, but I don't know if it still exists anywhere) in the early 90's. IIRC, it may have been CARB legal at the time or pending it (but no longer is). The kit design is solid. The manifold is the Revhard manifold which has some minor flaws that can lead to big failures of the manifold, but can be altered to be more reliable with a drill, a dremel and a saw.

The only thing I tend to question is their claim at the time that they modify the turbo for better flow. Few turbo mods will actually increase the performance of a turbo. But other than that, it will perform similarly to the XS Engineering kit as they use very similar design. 230 WHP out of the box is pretty typical.

Im really thinking of going with this kit or the XS. I've been waiting for the AMS kit for sooo long! I know the AMS kit will probobly be superior on the market. But i want to be turbo'd NOW!
