Yeah so yesterday my house got broken into, door was pried open, my 32" LCD monitor and a Wii was stolen. Great news right ...

Anyways I figured since I already had such bad luck already that karma owed me big time and would allow me to get the RB fired up. I got the wiring done earlier in the week and had it turning over day before yesterday. Found out I did have both spark and fuel, so I played with the CAS for quite a while until I realized I had it 180' off to start with (whoops).. After I fixed that, I got it to fire up! Sounds pretty nasty dumping straight out of the turbo!! Had a big oil leak from one of the AN fittings for the turbo oil feed, and a vac leak from the CANP fitting, fixed those minor issues and let it idle for a bit... Set the timing and reset the fuel pressure. Let it run for a little while to make sure no issues & so far everything seems great.

Yes, I have some pictures of my messy engine bay & hilarious looking snorkel intake (just used a long FMIC 90 off the J pipe with the MAF on it, it sticks up about 2 feet above the bay) and even some start up video,,,, but I have no way to get them off my phone here at work! I know, I know, Tonight I might get them uploaded...

Anyway I just wanted to share the bittersweet news with my fellow RBers!!

Still to dops pump feed lineefan installfabricate downpipe & exhaustfabricate/modify FMIC piping for HKS mani & t3t04e turbofabricate FMIC mounting brackets & enlarge hole for pipingbolt up LCA'sinstall clutch slave line & bleed clutchreattach driveshaftfill transput dash back in(does this list EVER end?????)

Then I should be back on the road! so ****ing stoked!!!!!! Thanks for all the help guys.

Same exact ****ing thing happened to me. My GF went there around 130 the place is ransacked I left work to go check it out & get a report filed.. All my garage stuff was there luckily.... I rent and the house didn't come with an alarm.. Talked to the realty co., I'm getting an alarm installed this/next week..... Thanks

Anyway - what are you guys doing for the PS pump feed line, I need a 20mm to 15mm hose reducer... And 20mm PS hose, dunno where I'm going to find that stuff at (the 5/8s or 15mm is readily available)

man i was about to say, when I read "NRRBA loses another member" and read all this stolen mess, thought your RB was the next item on the list.

Well, good to hear you're running man, victory can never be sweeter.

i got my **** running perfect tonight for the first time. she didnt pull time or anything. its a completely different car now. and to top it off, i actually hooked up the power steering in the car tonight as well. even with my SR that i had in the car for 2 years i didnt have power steering. power steering is absolutely a must in these cars. i had a big *** grin the whole time driving around town without any hiccups. i know how you feel

^ Congrats man, I can't wait to get mine dropped back onto the ground!! Need my fabricator to make a house call and sort the DP and other piping/bracketry out... Hehehe

Then after I get the RB running decent in the car, time to put the S14 LCA's, new BJs, s14 5 lugs, my rebuilt Q45 calipers + rotors and new Z32 BMC in the front.. Already have the z32 brake setup in the rear, although the ebrake is no worky right now.. So many little projects!
