Howdy folks!

Well my strut bar came in to the dealer today and it's getting shipped to my house. I basically know what I have to do for installation. Is there anyone familiar with this product or installation that can give me any tips as far as what to look out for?

I know it's a relatively simple job but I'm relatively clumsy...

Thanks in advance for any help!

I got an NRG strut bar.

It did not fit. The top of the bar slightly touched the hood and you could slightly see a crease in the hood where it touches. I installed it, had my mechanic at nissan install it, tried installing it myself again... and no way did it fit.

The guys at NRG kept saying I'm not doing it right... but the fact is, it does not fit. Then after I tried it like 4 times (and of course it doesn't look brand new after 4 installations) they said "ship it back"...

I bent the bar my way and installed it. Now it fits fine except it looks ugly as hell.

It does make the car twist less and be more responsive, so I would recommend to everyone to install a strutbar. I would not recommend NRG strut bar.... especially since they are bungholes that try to make you think you and everyone else you know is retarded cuz you installed their perfect product the wrong way. F them, spend extra $50 and buy a brand name product.

I highly recommend GTSpec. Their products are quality, and the owner (Kyle) is great at customer service. I had the FSTB, and it fir perfectly. The only problem is that I had the 5/8 plenum spacer, and there wasn't enough clearance. It does fit perfectly with no clearance issues when used with the 5/16 plenum spacer.

Well I already order the strut bar a few weeks ago, so hopefully everything goes smoothly when it gets up here to VA...
