Anyone got a pic of it in an S13?

Also... did you front mount it in the traditional sense or did you sandwich it between the radiator and core support?

And.... did you get the larger or smaller NPR intercooler.

Thanks!

Joe

I've seen it done like that once in real life and it was between the core support and the radiator. I don't think there is room to mount it like a "true" FMIC, but I'm not sure. The only complaint the guy had was that if he ran the AC the car would overheat. But I think that was because he had removed the mechanical fan a and only had a single 14" electric fan. He was going to switch to dual 12"'s, but I haven't talked to him in a while, so I don't know if he has and how it worked.

I know it's not an S13, but AceInHole on Zilvia just put one in his S14. http://www.zilvia.net/f/showth...rmous

From what he said, an s13 should be easier due to the way the headlights sit.

Yeah I saw Ace's pics.... guess I am going to have to drop it off to my buddy and get the inlet/outlet rewelded to straight in/straight out.

And I don't have to worry about the A/C..... I ditched it, dead weight. :)

USDM, you must not live in Kansas. You'd almost die with out A/C here. It's not an option, it's a MUST. I'm dead serious. I live in the state capital (Topeka) and we actually have an organization that puts window A/C units in old peoples houses cuz we had like 10 deaths due to the heat. But like I said, it was old people. What a ****ty way to die....

We have the same deal here too. I'd just rather drive with the windows down though.... less hassle from the cops with the window tint I have too.

I kept A/C in my Civic hatchback when I swapped the motor in it. I was dead set on keeping it, but I never used it.... oh well.

I've had one car in the past that didn't have A/C and I won't do it again. Maybe I'm just a wuss, but I will sweat like crazy when it's that hot.

personally, I hate A/C. All it does is drain power and gas. I never used it when I had it so I figured I'd get rid of the weight and remove it.
