Lasat week I lost the transmission in my black one, then today I go to leave and the red one is acting up! I ran it earlier in the day and it was fine, now when I hit the key all I get is a clicking sound coming from the fuse box under the air intake tube. I tried jumping accross the selanoid at the starter and got nothing. Anybody have a clue?

Well you know the saying "when in doubt, get a bigger hammer"? I got pissed and took my 3 lb. sledge and smaked the starter. It now starts, I have started it 6 times since hitting it!

Sounds like you got lucky...but you still may need to get a new starter, unless it was just the starter drive locked on the flywheel. Hope that's all it was.

I was gonna say smack the starter with a hammer they get bad spots in them You'll still have to put a new one in it but it will get you by for a bit

sometimes cars have a way of being frustrating, if you're interested in a good automatic transmission of got one with only 80,000 miles on it, when you replace the transmission it would probably be a good dill to install a transmission cooler, there's a service bulletin on these cars about the transmission cooler deteriorating with time resulting in them that transferring the heat away from your transmission. Also if you decide to bang on your starter don't beat on it with a 5 pound hammer through years of experience I have found gently tapping on them while somebody else is trying to start the car can free them up but it's only temporary my boss used to pick on me about my magic hammer because I'd go out and bang on starters to get cars started so I could pull them in the shop to fix them, also make sure all your connections between the battery and starter are good that can cause problems to
