I have just installed asetof Megan Street Coilovers on my S14. I ordered a set of tires 17 X 8 +40 Offset and they are rubbing the Coilover pretty bad in the front, the backs seem to be fine... The place I ordered them fromassured me they wouldn't rub and I wouldn't have to worry about fitment. So much for that!!! I have the car lowered some but not a lot. Idon't know what to do next otherthan take it to a tire shop and let themlook at it. I figured I would ask for some help in NICO first.

As I am a Newb, what could I have done wrong? Any helpwould be appreciated!!

Jim

the wheel sizes suck! You should return them if you can.

Otherwise, its pretty obvious what you have to do: either get spacers or get new wheels with a WAYY lower offset.

Generally speaking, for 240sx's (or anything rwd on nissans), try to choose an offset lower than +20. It gets more specific with the wheel whores, but you should just start out with that knowlegde first.

its a shame because high offsets really suck... they dont look good and sometimes they rub.
